We're looking for a General Manager who is confident, proactive and a roll-your-sleeves-up kind of leader. You will continually commit to the highest standards of service and focus on genuine hospitality and operational excellence. Working closely with the management team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the restaurant, managing guest satisfaction, financials, recruitment and team development, stock management and health and safety.
The Position
- Previous experience as General Manager in a premium restaurant or member’s club;
- Charismatic persona, along with a hands-on approach to work and impeccable attention to detail;
- Proven ability to lead, train and inspire a team;
- Passion for hospitality and excellent knowledge of food and beverage;
- Previous experience working in high quality restaurant or Michelin preferred.
As General Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the whole restaurant operation and ensuring the running of a smooth service;
- Welcoming and attending to guests with an exceptional level of care and service, ensuring that they leave with a positive and memorable experience;
- Inspiring, motivating and training your team to deliver the highest levels of service and genuine, warm hospitality;
- Developing the restaurant into a pillar of the local community by building relationships with both our regular guests and local businesses;
- Leading the business with a hands-on approach to your role and ensuring that you consistently support your team in day-to-day operations;
- Delivering commercial KPIs across ASPH, GPs, labour and overheads control.
