The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate with exceptional guest experience knowledge and skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commis Chef to join an award‑winning, critically acclaimed group, supporting a high‑profile opening. The restaurant will showcase one of JKS’ Michelin‑starred Indian concepts as part of the group’s continued international expansion/growth.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef with strong South Indian culinary experience to join our team in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:- Hands‑on experience in preparing authentic South Indian dishes such as dosa, appam and other regional specialties.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
- Assist in daily mise en place and kitchen preparation.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Support senior chefs during service and busy operations.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and standard operating procedures.
- Previous experience in a South Indian kitchen is essential.
- Strong knowledge of traditional South Indian cooking techniques and ingredients.
