Contract: Permanent, Full time on site
Salary & Benefits: Up to £33,600 per annum depending on experience, 26 days per year plus bank holidays (7 holiday days to be used for Christmas shutdown), Health Cash Plan, Death in Service Cover (after successful completion of probation period)

Hours: 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the HR inbox, respond to employee queries and provide day-to-day HR administrative support.
- Support managers and employees with HR advice, policies, procedures and general people-related queries.
- Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including liaising with recruitment agencies and supporting new starter inductions.
- Manage employee lifecycle administration, including starters, leavers, internal changes, probation, family leave and associated system/payroll updates.
- Monitor sickness absence and Occupational Health requirements, including return-to-work processes, health surveillance and management referrals.
- Maintain accurate HR records and systems, including filing documentation and acting as an expert user of BreatheHR.
- Prepare and support payroll processing, respond to payroll queries and provide processing cover when required.
- Manage administration relating to employee benefits, training, long-service rewards and workwear.
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing and company initiatives, including social events, charity activities and HR projects.
- Assist with audits, policy updates, meeting notes and KPI reporting, providing HR data and documentation as required by the business.
Knowledge, Experience And Technical Skills
- CIPD Level 3 (or relevant experience in a HR/People Team).
- Experience of HR administration in a busy working environment (manufacturing or construction environment preferable).
- Good knowledge of MS packages including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, good attention to detail and be able to prioritise effectively.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Have a proactive continuous improvement mindset and be able to coach and support colleagues across the business.
- An enthusiastic engaged attitude and eagerness to help JKH to continue to grow as a business.
