JK Recruitment Hub are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide care and assistance to individuals within the Bromsgrove and the surrounding areas. The ideal candidates will have experience in supporting individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being in a person-centred approach. Support Worker Key Responsibilities: * Provide high-quality support to individuals with challenging behaviours, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. * Develop and implement personalised care plans to promote independence and enhance quality of life. * Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks. * Encourage and support participation in social, recreational, and educational activities. * Use positive behaviour support (PBS) strategies to manage challenging behaviours effectively. * Build strong relationships with service users, families, and other professionals to provide holistic support. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including care plans, incident reports, and daily logs. * Adhere to safeguarding policies and health and safety regulations. * Attend training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in supporting individuals with autism and complex behaviours. Support Worker Requirements: * Experience working with individuals with challenging behaviours. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Patience, empathy, and a person-centred approach to care. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. * A relevant qualification in Health & Social Care (desirable but not essential). * Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one). * Valid UK driving licence (desirable but not essential).
