We are currently recruiting for up to 3 Support Workers and 1 Senior Support Worker within our Children's Services team. Opportunities are available on both a Full-Time and Bank basis. We are also open to considering Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) for short-term, temporary, or temp-to-perm roles.
Shift Pattern:
- Primarily day shifts with some sleep's
- Occasional night shifts may be required
- Short and long day shifts available
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience supporting children and young people with complex care needs
- Strong understanding of safeguarding practices
- Clear and accurate record-keeping skills
- Good communication skills and ability to use a range of communication methods
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience supporting children with behavioural, emotional, and complex healthcare needs
- Medication Administration and Moving & Handling training
- Clinical training desirable, including Epilepsy, PEG, VNS, and other complex care competencies
- Personal care and basic healthcare support, including observations
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control
- Experience using communication tools such as PECS, communication aids/talkers, and social stories
