The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Responsible for achieving profitable, sustainable growth in targeted markets within which the business are rapidly growing. This focuses on delivering substantial levels of new business by generating sales opportunities from new, existing, and previous customers.
Working from Home Policy (3 days onsite/ 2 days WFH)
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and engage with new, existing, and previous customers, and subsequently deliver new business awards.
- Build strong and trustworthy relationships at all levels of the customer’s organisation including engineering, quality, project, and procurement staff.
- Develop and qualify target opportunities, conduct frequent visits to the above with both established and potential customers (UK & Mainland Europe predominantly).
- Utilise the technical support available within the business to source all necessary data to present cost-effective solutions which satisfy customer application needs.
- Develop commercial proposals supporting the department’s strategic goals.
- Provide outstanding customer support to ensure customer satisfaction and drive organic growth
- Attend customer events, UK & international conferences as well as trade fairs etc.
- Maintain up to date market intelligence on programme development, competitor activity and technical innovation; present well thought out recommendations for future Company development.
- Work with other Business Development professionals across the group.
- Ensure that programmes comply with relevant confidentiality / non-disclosure agreements.
- Support the continuous review and improvement of all aspects of the business winning function based on lessons learnt, feedback and experience.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure that customer satisfaction is maintained at the highest level whilst addressing any issues such as service levels, enquiry response, contract queries, margins, payment etc.
Key Requirements:
- A proven track record of successfully pitching for and winning new business as well as in increasing revenue through generation of leads.
- A driven, self-motivated, pro-active team player who is organised, able to work on own initiative, can resolve problems and manage conflicting priorities in order to succeed.
- Previous commercial and relationship management experience within a technical industry is essential; you must be able to understand engineering concepts and communicate information clearly (technical or non-technical) to internal stakeholders and customers.
