Our client is a well-known London full service law firm with a particularly strong reputation in the area of real estate. For succession purposes, they are seeking to bring in a senior leasehold enfranchisement/lease extension lawyer to pick up the caseload of a retiring partner. The firm will consider existing partners for the role or senior associates who are keen to make the step up to partnership.
The role will involve advising both landlords and tenants in respect of prospective lease extensions and enfranchisements. This will involve acting for developers with a large property portfolio who are approached by their lessees seeking to extend their individual leases, along with advising individual tenants seeking to extend their own leases.
Our client is keen to grow their existing leasehold enfranchisement practice and is looking to attract a candidate who is interested in business development and in managing and growing a team.
