Due to continued growth and expansion, JJX Logistics is looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Air, Sea & Road Freight to lead the development and growth of our freight forwarding division. The Role
- As Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the development of our Air, Sea & Road Freight division.
- This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll help establish operational processes, develop the department, grow our customer base and recruit and develop the team as the division expands.
- Working closely with senior leadership, you'll play a key role in delivering our long‑term growth strategy while ensuring the highest levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and growth of our Air, Sea & Road Freight division.
- Help establish operational processes, procedures and best practices as the department continues to grow.
- Build, mentor and develop a high‑performing freight forwarding team.
- Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers, overseas agents and suppliers.
- Support business development by identifying new commercial opportunities and helping grow the division.
- Oversee day‑to‑day air, sea and road freight operations as the department develops.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import/export procedures and industry legislation.
- Monitor performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with senior management to help shape the future direction of the freight forwarding division.
About You
- Proven experience within Air & Sea Freight forwarding.
- Previous management or senior supervisory experience.
- A commercial mindset with experience of developing customer relationships and growing business.
- Strong operational knowledge of international freight forwarding.
- Customs knowledge and road freight experience would be highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and the confidence to build and develop a department.
