The Role
The Senior Investment Administrator / Investment Assistant will support an established Investment Management team and will be responsible for the new Client Account Opening process as well as drafting client reports to coincide with valuations, and dealing with ad hoc client requests and queries.
The Senior Investment Administrator / Investment Assistant is to have the ability to type with accuracy when professionally presenting documents for the Investment Manager to sign off and should ensure all documents have been proof-read.
Keep up to date with filing, internal CRM systems and ensure all information is up to date for year end Investment file reviews.
The Senior Investment Administrator / Investment Assistant is to prepare client payments, receipt and transfer of client funds as well as any other forms for the Investment Manager.
The Senior Investment Administrator / Investment Assistant should be proactive in efficiencies and potential process improvements, as well as be confident in solving administrative problems.
Answering telephone calls from Clients and taking down accurate messages to pass on to the Investment Manager, developing good relationships with private clients, helping with any queries in a professional manner.
The Investment Administrator / Investment Assistant will prepare transactions on the client’s internal systems to be processed by the Investment Manager.
The Candidate
A minimum of 3-4 years Investment Assistant / Investment Administration experience supporting a Wealth Management desk.
Ideally level 4 RDR qualified – or willing to study IAD eventually.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organised and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, Outlook and Word.
Approachable and professional when dealing with clients.
