The Client
An established and widely known Wealth Management firm running Discretionary Investment Portfolios.
The Role
The Business Development Director role will focus on developing the Wealth Management Firms relationships with UK Professional Services and Intermediary business – Accountants & Lawyers.
The Business Development Director will build, maintain and improve long-term business relationships at all levels within Professional Services and Intermediary firms in order to influence their structures and decision-making processes and become their Discretionary Investment Management partner of choice.
Work in partnership across the Wealth Planning and Investment teams to support the delivery of a first-class service and deliver on sales objectives.
The Business Development Director will negotiate pricing when necessary to secure and retain business with Professional Services firms on profitable terms.
Contribute and support proposition development to meet the requirements of the Professional Services and Intermediary client markets.
The Business Development Director will deliver high quality compliant presentations for new business pitches to Accountants and Lawyers.
Build high levels of market and competitor intelligence and provide feedback to the proposition to support future developments.
The Candidate
Significant Business Development experience and understanding of Financial Services, specifically Wealth Management and Investments.
Significant and successful experience of sales account management with Professional Services firms (Accountants and Lawyers).
Demonstrable track record of success in generating significant revenue streams with new and existing clients.
Must be able to demonstrate reasonable technical knowledge of intermediary clients’ needs and requirements.
Effective influencing and negotiation skills for presenting investment options for potential Professional Services and Intermediary clients.
