Role Overview
We are seeking compassionate, reliable and motivated Support Workers with experience working with children with disabilities to join our growing team across Basingstoke and Winchester. You will provide high‑quality, person‑centred support to children and young people with varying needs, helping them feel safe, valued and empowered in their daily lives. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference and thrives in a supportive, professional care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to children and young people with disabilities.
- Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and emotional support.
- Support children in accessing community activities, education, and social opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with families, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and report any changes in the child's condition or behaviour.
Requirements
- Must have experience working with children with disabilities.
- Must have a valid DBS check on the Update Service.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly across the Hampshire region (Basingstoke and Winchester).
