We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator/installer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting various steel products. Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding and other welding processes on various materials, including sheet metal and structural components.
- Fabricate parts according to technical drawings, specifications, and work orders.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
- Fit fabricated items to farm buildings and commercial/residential properties.
- Conduct inspections of completed welds and fabricated parts for quality assurance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the assembly of finished products as required.
- Read technical drawings and interpret measurements for precise fabrication.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in MIG welding, with a strong understanding of standard practice.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Knowledge of sheet metal work and basic mechanical principles.
- Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic math calculations for measurements.
