We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator/installer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting various steel products. Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding and other welding processes on various materials, including sheet metal and structural components.
  • Fabricate parts according to technical drawings, specifications, and work orders.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
  • Fit fabricated items to farm buildings and commercial/residential properties.
  • Conduct inspections of completed welds and fabricated parts for quality assurance.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the assembly of finished products as required.
  • Read technical drawings and interpret measurements for precise fabrication.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in MIG welding, with a strong understanding of standard practice.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal work and basic mechanical principles.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic math calculations for measurements.
