Our client, a leading professional services business with offices based in South East London, seeks an IT Support Engineer on a full-time, hybrid working basis. This is a brand new role reporting directly to the Head of IT, where you will provide first and second line IT support to business users across the firm, both on-site and remotely, taking ownership of issues and seeing them through to resolution.

This will include:

  • Setting up, configuring and maintaining end user devices
  • Managing asset registers, stock levels and replacement of equipment
  • Supporting MS 365 Windows, proprietary business systems, and setting up new user accounts
  • Working with outsourced IT providers and vendors to resolve incidents and service issues
  • Supporting IT security controls, updates and patches
  • Working on compliance initiatives such as Cyber Essentials and data protection requirements
  • Supporting IT projects such as system upgrades, new tech rollouts and process enhancements

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an IT support or service/help desk role, strong working knowledge of MS Windows, 365 and standard MS Office applications, a core understanding of networking and hardware, and experience with service management networks (ITIL).
