Emerging Markets Senior Equity Analyst, Fund Management, LATAM & MENA / EMEA
The Role:
The Emerging Markets Senior Equity Analyst will be an integral member of a small Global Emerging Markets team, responsible for Emerging Markets Equity Research excluding Asia. The role involves idea generation, stock selection, and portfolio construction, focusing on LATAM & MENA / EMEA regions.
The analyst will work alongside the Lead Portfolio Manager, participating in the overall portfolio management process and internal and external client marketing of Global Emerging Market Funds.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for the analyst to serve as a Co-Portfolio Manager, conducting deep fundamental company analysis, including qualitative and quantitative assessments and financial modeling, as well as meeting with company management and sell-side analysts.
The candidate will play a key role in driving fund AUM growth through strong marketing and commercial skills.
The Candidate:
- 10-15 years of experience in Emerging Markets Equity Research within the asset management industry.
- Extensive experience covering Emerging Market regions, especially LATAM & MENA, with a focus on small/mid-cap companies and sector generalist expertise.
- Experience in portfolio management processes, including portfolio construction and risk management, is a plus.
- Flexible investment style aligned with a 1-2 year investment horizon.
- Experience in external client marketing and communication.
- Ability to work in a small team, demonstrating high autonomy and independence.
- Proactive self-starter, capable of taking initiative.
