The Role: The Finance Assistant will be working within a team of 18 in the Finance department. The finance department has responsibility for maintaining the accounting records and producing internal and external reporting for the group of companies.
The Finance Assistant will administer the operations around client fees, including:
- Reviewing and oversight of predominantly quarterly client fee process
- Overseeing fee set up performed by client services
- Calculating manual fees in relation to account opening/closing, rate changes and various corrections
- Monitoring and processing general client fee related CRM requests and queries received in Fees Inbox
The Finance Assistant will liaise with front and back office in matters relating to client fees, performing static data checks ahead of fee runs to rectify any issues.
The Finance Assistant will also review and oversee the monthly IFA/Intermediary fee process, which includes:
- Performing monthly payment run
- Producing monthly fee statements
- Calculation of manual fees
- Review and amendment of certain static data
- Liaising with external IFA/Intermediaries to address queries and requests
The Finance Assistant will lead or assist with any fee related initiatives, assist with Avaloq testing and development, and identify fee process automation opportunities.
