The role This role is based in Newcastle and is a great opportunity for an experienced Sales Support Associate to deliver high-quality client service to the firm's newly established IFA channel and Model Portfolio Service.
The Sales Support Associate will work closely with the Business Development Managers, helping to build the success of the MPS in the UK and the UK Advised Platforms. The Sales Support Associate will be comfortable dealing directly with IFAs, taking ownership of creating a top-class service and providing essential support in all phases of the IFA relationship building cycle.
The Sales Support Associate is to provide administrative support to the Business Development Managers in order to help grow the Model Portfolio Service (MPS) proposition as well as providing support to develop the ongoing monitoring of IFAs. Taking ownership of the ongoing processes to ensure smooth operational running of platforms.
The Sales Support Associate will work in collaboration with the MPS Portfolio Manager and Portfolio construction team, taking an entrepreneurial approach when building new processes utilising technology to drive efficiencies where possible.
The Sales Support Associate will confidently work with key internal stakeholders to build the internal and external narrative of MPS. Supporting the Business Development Managers with any development of new IFA relationships and key business initiatives to support current and prospective IFAs.
The Sales Support Associate is to deliver key marketing material to the IFA market acting as an ambassador of the firm both internally and externally.
The Candidate 2-3 years of experience in Sales Support. Investment Platform Operations/Administration, Business Development Support within Investment Management or Wealth Management. An understanding of the IFA market and key marketing strategies to IFAs. Experience working with Business Development Managers or Platform Relationship Managers. Strong understanding and proven experience of investment platforms and operational processes.
