The Role: The Pensions Administrator will work within Employee Benefits Administration and will be the processor of client, provider and adviser queries by email, letter and phone. The Pensions Administrator will be responsible for:
- New joiner processing
- Sending relevant employee benefit invites and actioning any additions, notifying the company of any changes to payroll
- Maintaining the company database, updating and actioning new joiners, leavers, address changes, etc.
- Processing Letters of Authority from clients
- Explaining the transfer process and sending LOAs to providers, keeping the client updated in the meantime
- Generating transfer paperwork and issuing to employees, updating transfer tracker, chasing paperwork and keeping the client informed
- Processing Group Personal Pension monthly contributions, actioning new joiners/leavers, checking amounts correlate to what they should be, ensuring everyone is auto-enrolled, management of internal database and communicating with existing and former clients, providers and advisers
- Contacting employers to arrange employer meeting days and issuing invitations to employees, generating meeting day paperwork
- Processing the re-enrolment with the provider, liaising with employees and employers to make any requested changes to contribution amounts/bonus sacrifices, ensuring all records are updated with the details and the relevant form is completed for audit purposes
- Supporting employees with the auto-enrolment process, explaining the regulations and statutory amounts as chosen by the employer, and helping action any opt-outs, sending communications to employees regarding salary sacrifice, rate changes, claiming back higher rate tax, etc. and assisting with any related queries
The Candidate: Experienced in pensions administration, specifically with workplace pension schemes, auto enrolment, salary sacrifice, and general pension scheme administration. Ideally have general working knowledge of other employee benefits, such as group life assurance, income protection, private medical, dental, cash plan, etc.
