The Role: THIS ROLE IS A 12 MONTH FTC ROLE. The Events Manager will be highly organised and proactive, and will take the lead in the Event strategy, Event planning and execution of the company events programme, working with other members of the Wealth Management Marketing team as required for support.
The Events Manager will own and manage the annual events calendar for the Wealth Management firm, managing event budgets, ensuring strong cost control and value for money. Source and secure venues, suppliers and partners aligned with the Firms standards, negotiating contracts and maintaining strong external relationships. Coordinate event logistics including guest management, CRM/event registration platforms, and event-related collateral.
The Events Manager will work closely with Front Office Relationship Managers and the wider Marketing team to manage invitations, registrations and event communications. Oversee event delivery on the day, including supplier management and coordination with internal colleagues (occasionally outside of standard office hours). Produce post-event reporting and insights, including engagement analysis and recommendations to inform future activity.
The Events Manager will act as brand guardian, both at events and ensuring that brand and communications guidelines are upheld. Working with external design agency on creation of new design assets. Acting as a key point of contact with Company-sponsored organisations when a key focus of the sponsorship is events-related.
The Events Manager will support the wider Wealth Management Marketing team on ad hoc projects and campaigns depending on critical business needs.
The Candidate: Proven Experience as an Events Manager within a Financial Services or Professional services business (at least 3-5 years). Excellent organisational and project management skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
