The Role: The Investment Administrator will provide excellent administrative support to a team of Investment Managers to help deliver good client outcomes. Responsibilities include:
- Working efficiently and effectively with the Investment Management team on daily administration tasks associated with the ongoing monitoring of client investment portfolios.
- Writing up file notes, drafting letters, and arranging client meetings.
- Account opening and closing.
- Making transfers of stock into accounts and payments.
- Updating Avaloq with static data.
- Producing Excel reports via data held on Avaloq.
- Supporting the Desk by placing trades in Avaloq based on received instructions from other staff, ensuring they are executed and booked correctly.
- Assisting Investment Managers with preparation and administration for client pitches and meetings.
- Supporting the team with ongoing projects.
- Carrying out any other relevant duties within the remit of the role as reasonably directed by management.
The Candidate: A recent graduate with an interest in Investment Management / Wealth Management or 1-2 years experience in a similar wealth management support, wealth planning administration or investment management administration role, or Client Services within Wealth Management. Strong communication skills. Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
