The Client
An established and widely known Wealth Management firm servicing Investment Management needs to High-Net-Worth Clients.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy Wealth Management firm in their Worcester office, supporting the Investment Managers to help develop good client relationships and service. The successful candidate will confidently support the Investment Management team with any daily client administrative and portfolio administration tasks associated with the ongoing monitoring of client portfolios in line with company procedures and models.
The Wealth Management Assistant will assist in developing and maintaining client relationships by providing first class investment administrative support to various teams, writing up file notes, drafting letters, arranging client investment meetings. The Wealth Management Assistant will handle account opening and closing, transfer of stock into accounts and payments, updating Avaloq with static data as well as producing Excel reports via data held on Avaloq.
The Wealth Management Assistant will be required to support the desk, placing trades in Avaloq based on received instructions from other staff on the Desk, and ensuring they are executed and booked accurately. The Wealth Management Assistant is to support the Investment Managers with preparation and administration for client pitches and meetings as well as supporting the teams when needed with any ongoing projects.
The Candidate
- A strong interest to work within Wealth Management within a Client Facing Support role.
- A recent Financial graduate with an interest in Wealth Management OR someone who already has 1-2 years Financial Services Client Support experience.
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- High level of accuracy/attention to detail – quality output.
- Excellent interpersonal, team working and influencing skills.
