Responsibilities: The Sales Support Associate will assist the Business Development Team in the delivery of nurturing adviser relationships on behalf of the Wealth Management company. This role is a Business Development Client Services support focussed role and does NOT require a person who wants to develop towards a BDM role. The Sales Support Associate supports the Business Development Team to ensure that all sales opportunities are followed up and IFA clients are provided with relevant and timely information, ensuring effective communications with IFAs. The Sales Support Associate will be confident on working with CRM systems. The Sales Support Associate will maintain the standard due diligence question bank. Complete any due diligence requests from financial advisers. Help with the organisation of sales events, selecting venues, tracking invitations and logistics. The Sales Support Associate will be proactive in developing your knowledge of the Wealth Management industry and the IFA market. The Sales Support Associate will carry out any other relevant duties within the remit of the role and as reasonably directed by management. Be proactive in developing your knowledge of the industry, the market and relevant skills. Conduct annual and interim performance reviews including setting of performance and personal/professional goals, within the Firm’s timescales.
Qualifications: 1-3 years Sales Support or Business Development support experience within Wealth Management or Asset Management, or Client Services experience working with IFAs in some capacity. Familiar with CRM systems. Attention to detail and a hard worker. Confident on the phone and highly personable. Enjoys working in a busy and proactive environment. Understand the Regulatory and Compliance requirements and processes relevant to this Role.
