The Company: Our client is a highly recognised Asset Management firm specialising in investment, institutional asset management.
The Role: This is a great opportunity for a Front Desk Receptionist to join a prestigious Asset Management firm where you will be the first point of contact for greeting clients and being the face of the organisation as guests arrive. The Receptionist will escort clients to meeting rooms and ensure that no one enters the firm without identification and having signed in. The Receptionist will answer incoming telephone calls and direct them to the right person within the business. Office diary management to include running & booking of meeting rooms for staff/client meetings, adding recurring and one-off events to the office calendar will be the responsibility of the Asset Management firm's Receptionist. The Receptionist will maintain the meeting rooms and reception area - ensure reception area is kept tidy and presentable and meeting rooms are always fit for purpose i.e. for meetings/walk ins. The Receptionist will organise lunches for HR Canteen Events, interact daily with security staff, maintain fully stocked office stationery, book couriers, receive courier deliveries and book taxis for clients and staff of the Asset Management firm.
The Candidate:
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Receptionist within a Financial Services company is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and telephone manner.
- Proven administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of booking meetings and ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite (Outlook).
- Team player with a flexible approach and sound judgement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Aspiring career prospects with an interest to progress in the financial services sector would be desirable.
