The Client: A well-established Wealth management firm operating with HNW clientele.
The Role: The Senior Portfolio Administrator will be experienced in Portfolio Administration / Investment Administration and will support the Portfolio Management team in supplying investment management services. You will be the most experienced Portfolio Administrator within a team of 3 Portfolio Administrators supporting 2 Portfolio Managers.
The Senior Portfolio Administrator will fully understand the various investment admin processes in place and will lead the Portfolio Administration support team, taking full ownership for anything admin related - reviewing administrative processes, ensuring they are efficient and scalable.
The Senior Portfolio Manager will be placing fund trades with Portfolio Manager guidance. The Senior Portfolio Administrator will lead on support tasks including:
- Dealing with queries received into the shared mailbox
- Producing various reports
- Preparing presentations for clients
The Senior Portfolio Administrator will be setting up and closing investment portfolios, as well as monitoring cash that has been transferred in for investment.
The candidate should have 2-3 years previous experience of working in Portfolio Administration or Investment Administration role at a wealth management, investment management or financial advice firm. Experience of using any trade execution software is required. Holder of CISI Level 3 Regulations Paper – ideally. Experience of mentoring more junior members of the team would be highly beneficial. High attention to detail is crucial and excellent communication skills are necessary.
