The Company: A highly regarded and ambitiously growing, boutique Investment Management Company.

The Role: The Operations Associate is responsible for data entry and maintenance of the firm’s Investment Management systems – custodian data, client data, securities data, transactions, pricing feeds, currency data, benchmark and indices data, static data.

The Operations Associate will be responsible for daily and periodic stock and cash reconciliations with investigation and timely resolution of exceptions. Trade order reconciliations, effective and timely resolution of exceptions, working with custodians.

The Operations Associate will be responsible for the timely generation and provision of periodic client reports, including requested ad-hoc reports, completing required pre-checks prior to distribution internally.

The Operations Associate will focus on generation and provision of key periodic MI reporting from internal and custodian platforms (AUM's, money in and money out and cash balance reporting).

Corporate actions administration, receipt of custodians’ notifications, internal notification and processing of the election decision.

The Operations Associate will be working with custodians and platform providers to resolve issues in a timely manner with continual focus on enhancing processes.

The Candidate:

  • 2 years Investment Operations experience within wealth/asset/investment management, or a similar position within wealth management or investment management.
  • Proven experience of cash and stock reconciliations and/or transaction reporting.
  • An understanding of operations data within investment management (i.e. securities).
  • Strong knowledge of industry practices and UK regulations.
  • A good knowledge of US regulations preferred but not essential.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and report writing skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite; Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Team player with experience of working in a team environment, able to identify and help others when required.
