The Company
Our client is a highly successful Investment Management and Wealth Management firm.
The Role
The Fixed Income Analyst will be responsible for researching, selecting, and monitoring any new Corporate Credit ideas as well as presenting analysis to the Fixed Income committee – predominantly Investment Grade.
The Fixed Income Analyst will produce monthly performance reports for the team and will maintain research screens.
The Fixed Income Analyst is to keep good relationships with key internal stakeholders responsible for client portfolios, and to make certain that the approved Credit & Bonds list and ongoing Fixed Income research is up to date and meets the Wealth Management business needs.
The Fixed Income Analyst will produce appropriate research notes to best support the Fixed Income investment ideas, keeping in line with regulatory requirements.
The Fixed Income Analyst is to support the investment process as well as recommending improvements where they deem necessary.
The Fixed Income Analyst will be responsible for ensuring all processes, analysis, spreadsheets and models are all up to date and stored in line with the Wealth Management company’s policies.
The Candidate
Minimum 2-3 years experience in Fixed income Analysis / Credit Research
IMC and/or CFA would be advantageous (CFA Level 1 minimum)
Some experience doing either credit research or portfolio management.
Prior experience of using Bloomberg and its excel functionality
Competent user of MS Excel and the remainder of the MS Office Package.
Strong numerical and analytical skills, specifically in the context of Fixed Income research and/or portfolio management.
