The Role: The Financial Planning Administrator will be a key member of the team and will be involved in all aspects of client service administration and Financial Planning support to a growing team of Financial Planners and Paraplanners. This role is based in Cambridge. The Financial Planning Administrator will schedule and co-ordinate client meetings and will support compliant new business submissions by completing and distributing all relevant internal and external documentation; actively managing the progress of such submissions and ensuring the CRM system is updated correctly. The Financial Planning Administrator will act as the primary interface for client queries from both internal and external clients together with third party providers and work with a varied client base. The Financial Planning Administrator will be responsible for the preparation of client review reports, issuing Financial Planning recommendation reports and processing withdrawal requests. Liaising with third parties regarding letters of authority; requesting policy information, fund switches and instructing transfers of stock and/or cash.
The Candidate: Financial Services Administration experience β ideally IFA Administration, Financial Planning, Wealth Management or Investment Management. Experience of Xplan - useful. An appreciation of compliance and regulatory knowledge. Experience using client management systems / financial planning tools. Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel and demonstrate excellent written skills. Competent administration of investment and advised products.
