An established Wealth Management and Advisory firm in the Manchester area, specialising in High Net Worth Private Client Financial Planning and Investment Management.
The Financial Planner will deliver high-level support to the Senior Financial Planning Directors and help develop Wealth Strategies and technical Wealth Planning for the Wealth Management HNW clients to protect and manage their finances.
The Financial Planner will provide holistic financial planning advice discussing the following with HNW clients: Investments, Pensions, Protection, IHT Planning, EIS, VCT, Life wrappers.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing technical planning, fact finding on existing plans and policies, and understanding broader HNW client objectives.
- Working with the Senior Financial Planning Directors to prepare cash flow plans and write financial reviews.
- Attending HNW client meetings to present cash flow plans to clients.
- Staying up to date with new Investment products coming to market.
- Preparation of internal analysis reports, scenario planning, and suitability letters for review.
- Preparing pre-annual review documentation, attending annual review meetings, and completing post-annual review follow-up and action planning.
- Researching and preparing for the Planning Policy Committee sign off on policy guidelines and product selection.
Experience within the Wealth Planning / Financial Planning field and Financial Planning Diploma qualified is essential. Strong technical experience across pensions, protection, and investments is required. Exposure to more complex planning for HNW clients such as pension planning for large value pots, defined benefit schemes, inter-generational and IHT planning, or large case life cover is also necessary. Good Excel knowledge is essential.
