The Role:
THIS OPPORTUNITY IS A 12 MONTH FTC – Maternity Cover. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious PA to provide full support to the Senior Investment Management team - a fast-paced and high achieving team. The PA will be working to tight deadlines with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- The PA will draft, proof-read and send email communications on behalf of the Investment Management Managing Director.
- Collate and review, and have the confidence to create content to distribute papers and presentations for Investment Management meetings.
- The PA will create accurate, high-quality documentation such as presentations and reports.
- The PA will take minutes for meetings as requested and complete the typing up of minutes for distribution in a timely manner.
- The PA will be responsible for extensive diary management and act as gatekeeper of the Senior Investment Management team's diaries, ensuring that the Senior members are fully prepared for all meetings, including organising and communicating meeting packs, agendas and location details in advance.
- Management of travel and accommodation bookings and itinerary planning.
- Answering and screening incoming telephone calls, relaying accurate messages in a professional and timely manner.
- Scanning, printing, photocopying and binding packs and slide decks as required.
- Be proactive in developing knowledge of the Investment Management industry and the market.
- Undertake and record relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to develop knowledge and skills.
The Candidate:
- 3-5 years + PA / Personal Assistant experience supporting a Senior level financial services team – ideally investment management / asset management industry.
- Hard working, proactive, and creative, embracing change.
- Strong secretarial/administrative skills with a high level of organisation.
- Communication and content writing skills.
- Ability to manage and work with different personality types.
