The Role:

The Emerging Markets Senior Equity Analyst be an Integral member of a small Global Emerging Markets team with responsibility for Emerging Markets Equity Research excluding Asia, the Emerging Markets Senior Equity Analyst will be responsible for idea generation, stock selection and portfolio construction. The area of coverage will be LATAM & MENA / EMEA.

The Emerging Markets Senior Equity Analyst will work alongside the Lead Portfolio Manager, heavily involved in overall portfolio management process and internal and external client marketing of such Global Emerging Market Funds.

This is a great opportunity for the Emerging Markets Senior Equity Analyst to work as a Co-Portfolio Manager on the fund, undertaking deep dive, fundamental company analysis involving qualitative and quantitative analysis and financial modelling, meeting company management and sell side analysts.

The Emerging Markets Senior Equity Analyst will be a key contributor in helping drive fund AUM growth through strong marketing and commercial acumen

The Candidate

10-15 years of experience in Emerging Markets Equity Research within asset management industry

Main experience in covering Emerging Market regions, notably LATAM & EMEA / MENA and in particular small/mid cap companies and sector generalist experience

Experience in portfolio management process through portfolio construction and risk management a plus

Flexible Investment style aligned to 1-2 year investment horizon

Experience in external client marketing and communication

Ability to work in small team and embraces high autonomy and independence

Proactive self starter, able to take their own initiative
