The Client is a highly regarded boutique Investment Management Company.
The Role: This is a great opportunity for an experienced Client Services Associate to play an integral role in delivering exceptional service to the firm's clients. The Client Services Associate will confidently undertake all aspects of Investment Administration relating to clients’ cash transfers and asset transfers, ensuring to follow all department procedures and controls. The Client Services Associate is to complete daily/weekly/monthly and yearly checks as well as managing both internal and external transfers, in and out of the firm. The Client Services Associate will investigate and resolve any failed or unmatched transfers ensuring the timely settlement of all transfer activities, whilst providing accurate valuation information to Investment Managers to assist with the efficient transition of client assets. The Client Services Associate will be expected to do daily reconciliations of settled/unsettled trades, liaising with external custodians and counterparties regarding any failing or unmatched transactions. The Client Services Associate will be expected to keep up to date with all changes within the industry which would be found relevant to the department and suggest process enhancements and get involved in projects where required.
The Candidate:
- Experience: 1-2+ years in operations within the financial services industry preferred.
- Experience in Investment Administration / Transfers.
- Investment Operations Certificate: Preferred, to evidence the individual knowledge of the whole industry and dedication to their own career.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A high level understanding of industry regulations including, but not limited to, CASS, MiFID II, COBS, and Consumer Duty.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to plan and deliver to a schedule.
- Clear communicator with both strong written and verbal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
