The Role:
The Client Due Diligence Manager will lead a team who is responsible for performing client on-boarding working closely with the front office and compliance.
The Client Due Diligence Manager will lead the team to provide and deliver daily support for the Wealth Management firm ensuring seamless execution of CDD processes. The Client Due Diligence Manager must understand the client structures and types of account and be able to review client account opening documents, and guide the CDD accordingly.
The Client Due Diligence Manager will lead the CDD team and provide guidance holding regular 1-2-1s to support and enhance CDD team performance. The role will manage and allocate CDD team membersβ workloads pro-actively to ensure work is completed in a timely manner to train and upskill team members, cross-training across the CDD team to ensure there is full coverage.
The Client Due Diligence Manager will ensure Quality Assurance/Control is performed across the CDD function, including 4-eye checks to implement and foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
The Client Due Diligence Manager will provide regular MI and updates to Team Head, Client Onboarding in relation to work volumes, team performance, risk metrics and recommendations for improvement.
The Client Due Diligence Manager will work with IT & Change to implement and optimise tools to enhance efficiency, as well as regularly review and enhance procedures, and frameworks, continually keeping up to date with regulatory changes.
The Client Due Diligence Manager will support the Head of Client Services with strategic direction and common goal delivery and act as a point of contact or escalation point for matters which arise in relation to Client Due Diligence and provide solutions and clear guidance on steps to resolution.
The Candidate
Client Due Diligence Management / Client Onboarding Management experience within a Financial Services setting, ideally Investment Management but Banking also considered.
Team Management / Team Leadership experience β essential!
Strong experience of Wealth Management industry, including Front Office, Middle Office and Operational business requirements
Knowledge of SmartSearch / Able to perform Companies House searches/Lexis Nexis checks
Excellent client service focus
Strong understanding of regulatory and reporting requirements
