We are currently supporting a key logistics partner with the recruitment of multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers for consistent night work across rigid and trailer routes. These roles offer long-term stability, modern equipment, and a respectful, well-organised working environment ideal for drivers who take pride in safe, efficient deliveries and thrive during night operations.

Core responsibilities include:

  • 3-5 drops per shift to stores, depots, and distribution centres
  • Pre- and post-trip vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness
  • Unloading cages, pallets, and totes as key holders
  • Collecting return items and completing all relevant paperwork
  • Adhering to traffic laws and maintaining a safety-first mindset
  • Using Microlise transport management system to log journeys and updates
  • Representing the brand professionally during night operations

Role details:

  • Salary: £37,188.71 per annum + £2,496 Bonus
  • Permanent contract from Day One (not agency work)
  • Night shifts: Any 5 nights in 6 (You will never work a Saturday as the business is closed)
  • Hours: Set Rota with start times between 19:00-03:00 (for example: wk1 - 8pm starts, wk2 - 10pm starts, wk3 - 1am starts, wk4 - 11pm starts)
  • 46 hours per week, with paid breaks and overtime available
  • Modern fleet brand new HGVs
  • Supportive transport team and consistent shift pattern
  • Enhanced holiday entitlement and company pension
