Job Description
Job Title:International HGV Class 1 Driver – Permanent
Based: Nottingham Nights Out: 5 Per Week
Salary: £41,839.36
Paid weekly: £605.08 (Plus monthly attendance bonus £864.60)
J&J are recruiting several experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a growing international operation, delivering across Europe with regular departures from Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the team on a full-time permanent basis, who enjoys tramping work, takes pride in smooth long-haul runs, and values the reliability of set routes and schedules. We are looking for drivers who are proficient in Romanian both written and verbal as there are clients in Romania who require you to speak and sign off documentation in Romanian, English is equally important for your UK based deliveries.
What’s Involved:
- 5 nights out per week (tramping)
- European deliveries
- No loading or unloading – drive, deliver, and go
- Varied cargo including car parts, alcohol, and general goods
- Departures from Nottingham with clear route planning & logistics support
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence, up-to-date CPC, and tachograph card
- Experience with international driving
- Professional, punctual, and confident in solo work
- Great communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Fluent in English and Romania
