Purchase Ledger
Location: Northampton, on site with 1 day working from home each week
We're a fast growing, global organisation on the lookout for a Purchase Ledger to join our Finance Team. If you're detail oriented and thrive in a fast paced environment we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to our Finance Manager, you'll be managing the Purchase Ledger across our group of global entities - receiving, validating and coding supplier invoices and credit notes, and matching them to purchase orders. You'll make sure the correct entity, cost centre, VAT / tax treatment and currency are applied to every transaction, resolve invoice queries with requesters and suppliers, and keep our supplier accounts and master data accurate and up to date.
You'll prepare and run multi-currency payment runs as well as process employee expense reimbursements and ad hoc payments, and reconcile supplier statements, bank accounts and intercompany balances across all entities.
You'll support month end and year end close with accruals, AP reconciliations and supporting schedules, produce regular AP ageing and cash outflow reporting for the Finance Manager, and help to spot trends, risks and opportunities to improve our processes.

Who we're looking for...
- Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger role, ideally 2+ years
- If you have started your AAT studies / hold an AAT qualification this is highly beneficial
- You have a high level of attention to detail, and are super accurate
- You thrive in a fast paced environment, can prioritise your own workload, and work well under pressure
- You have exceptional communication skills and are confident on the phone
- You're a team player and always get stuck in to get the job done
- Good working knowledge of Google Sheets / Excel
- Netsuite experience is a plus but not essential
