The perfect candidate will ensure compliance with the company\’s Health & Safety, Quality, Food Safety, and Environmental policies while having the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. We offer a salary of £26,000 per annum. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested and passionate about compliance and confident in communication at all levels. Responsibilities include: Promoting and supporting continuous improvement based on Food Safety and Quality culture across all our sites. Conducting site inspections/audits, generating detailed reports for management review, and ensuring compliance with company, HSE, and Quality standards. Managing administrative duties related to customer complaints, accident reports, Halal certification, training records, investigation minutes, and supplier information, ensuring records are accurate and updated. Evaluating and inspecting new products to ensure adherence to customer specifications and regulatory standards. Analyzing product and process non-conformances, providing recommendations for corrective actions, including necessary modifications. Qualifications and skills required: An honours degree in Food Science, Life Science, Health & Safety, or a closely related field, and/or a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a comparable role. A people-focused individual passionate about safety culture and behaviors. Ability to query and analyze data. Thoroughness and accuracy in all duties. Proficiency in MS Office and Excel. Proactive problem-solving skills, acting decisively. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Authoritative decision-making after appropriate consideration. Effective priority setting and resource allocation. Clear and impactful communication skills, both verbal and written.
