We are looking for a passionate and friendly individual to join our Logistics team as a part-time logistics planner. Do you enjoy a fast-paced working environment, have a keen eye for detail and like to take ownership of multiple tasks? Then this is the job for you.

The perfect candidate will work as a part of our logistics team in all aspects of route planning to ensure the flow of goods and services meets the requirements of the customer. This is a part-time job, 5 days a week, with hours from 17:30 to 21:30 or 18:00 to 22:00. Salary: Β£29, pro rata per annum.

We are looking for applicants who have the following skills:

  • Ability to query and analyse data
  • Work independently and make decisions based on information provided
  • Proficient in commonly used software such as MS Office and Business Application
  • Good communication, organisation and telephone manner
  • Execute tasks accurately and in a timely manner
  • Route planning experience is desired but not essential, as full training will be provided
  • Good knowledge of UK roads, ideally gained from a logistics background

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Plan and organise all deliveries, working within necessary constraints of dates, routes, vehicle size and stock capacity.
  • Prepare plans, estimates, orders and logistics annexes in support of requirements.
  • Coordinate all procedures from order input, allocation, selection, load completion.
  • Conduct and prepare installation surveys to determine support requirements and sustainability of operations.
  • Develop cost estimates, functional requirements, and resource requirements needed to implement logistics plans and operations.
  • Ensure that the company's internal/external customer care.
