Overview
Cashier – Part time
We are looking for a friendly individual to join our Sales team. You should be a good salesperson with a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy meeting new people. The successful candidate will interact with customers face-to-face to provide first-class service.
This is a part-time vacancy requiring 8 hours per week on Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers and process sales quickly, accurately and efficiently
- Input orders into the system for collection and delivery
- Identify sales opportunities and promote key features and benefits of products to increase business activity and growth of existing accounts
- Initiate sales leads to promote product sales and increase annual turnover, in line with sales targets
- Generate sales through contact with prospective customers, acting as a sales representative when required
Qualifications
- Great communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude, problem-solving ability and confidence to handle cash in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a frontline role
- Excellent sales approach
- High standard of communication and people skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Proficient computer literacy (including good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- Good standard of spoken English
