JJ Foodservice is building a dedicated Hotels, pubs and Contracts division and is seeking a Business Development Manager to build and lead our entry into the hotel, pub, and school contract sector. This senior role will be responsible for developing the division from the ground up and will report directly to the Director or Chief Sales Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead our entry and growth within the hotel, pub, and school food‑service market, establishing a strong presence and driving commercial success in this strategic sector.
  • Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with hotel groups, pub chains, schools, and contract caterers to accelerate market penetration.
  • Negotiate high‑value supply agreements that secure long‑term partnerships across food, hygiene, and consumable categories.
  • Drive product adoption and category spend by applying your understanding of the operational needs within hotels, hospitality groups, and education catering.
  • Collaborate closely with regional sales branch managers, purchasing teams, and operations to ensure seamless service delivery and successful rollout of our offering.

You bring proven experience managing national or multi‑site B2B accounts, with a strong track record of winning and growing contract‑based business. You understand the hotel, hospitality, and contract‑catering sectors and can confidently navigate these specialised environments.
