Position Overview
Drive commercialization and launch excellence for Monarch and ensure go-to-market readiness for digital innovations and new business models (e.g., robotics managed services assessment). This Senior Manager will lead cross-functional launch execution, assess and pilot platform and service models, and translate technology and innovation into scalable, revenue-generating offerings.
- Own launch excellence for Monarch: develop readiness criteria, launch plans, risk mitigation, playbooks, and post-launch optimization.
- Evaluate and commercialize new business models (for example, large scale capital, robotics managed services, subscription, and outcome-based models): build business cases, pricing approaches, and pilot roadmaps.
- Provide local market insights to shape the global innovation pipeline by partnering with internal stakeholders to evaluate viability, desirability, feasibility, and commercial potential.
- Identify potential new 3rd party partnerships for digital, AI and service-led innovations, using customer, competitor, and healthcare system insight.
- Lead LEX for new digital and AI platform solutions that enable services and commercialization.
- Coordinate cross-functional go-to-market readiness: align Product, Commercial, Regulatory/Quality, Legal, and Operations on achievements and decision points.
- Translate technical capabilities into service propositions and commercial offerings, defining target customer segments, value propositions, SLAs, and pricing inputs.
- Define and track launch KPIs and commercial metrics (e.g., time-to-market, adoption rates, ARR contribution, pilot-to-scale conversion), and produce concise executive updates.
- Create repeatable commercialization frameworks, templates, and procedures to accelerate future launches and capability rollouts.
- Create and implement comprehensive commercial playbooks and supporting materials for sales teams to facilitate the successful introduction and expansion of robotics and digital platforms.
- Collect launch learnings and drive continuous improvement of processes, tooling, and governance.
- Build and maintain external stakeholder relationships across NHS bodies, providers, industry partners, innovation networks, and strategic collaborators to accelerate adoption and scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead LEX for Monarch achieving a go/no go decision for launch and robust plans to commercialize.
- Represent the business at country level in all Regional and Global forums.
- Work with Region/Global on new digital innovations and how to commercialize in UKI.
- Assess new revenue streams including managed services for robotics to enable capital efficient profitable growth.
Experience and Education
- BA/BS required; MA, MSc, MBA preferred.
- Experienced leader with demonstrated track record in multiple business situations: new business, turnaround and change management, realignment and sustain the success model.
- MedTech experience essential, experience in surgical and capital business preferred.
- Strong business and financial competence and strategic mentality.
- Experience in leading complex commercial activities including multi-stakeholder negotiations.
- Awareness of local economic environment and dynamics of UK healthcare market.
- Track record in building mutually beneficial networks and partnership models with key external leaders and agencies to develop value-generating solutions.
- Drive for results—set the pace for the team to deliver stretch initiatives and to take required decisions.
- Unquestioned ethics, integrity, and Credo-based leadership.
- Strong organizational leadership, with ability to inspire and mobilize a large organization through periods of continuous change and transformation.
- Demonstrated enterprise attitude, with ability to influence and collaborate in a global, matrixed environment to achieve business objectives.
The role includes attendance at local congresses which may include weekends.
