The Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing initiatives that promote the Shockwave Reducer. This role works closely with the Reducer marketing team and other departments to coordinate campaigns, manage marketing materials, track performance metrics, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. We are looking for a dedicated, high-performing and accountable individual with preferably some Medtech marketing experience who wishes to advance their career by serving in a marketing coordinator position on the Shockwave Reducer marketing team. The primary focus will be on supporting marketing operations through digital marketing activities, content creation, event coordination to support customer engagement and business growth. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, financial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is a growth role that will be vital to the Reducer marketing team and the company’s success.
Essential Job Functions:
- Owns and drives the promotional asset process and end-to-end document approval process.
- Leads project management and collaborates on the development, approval and distribution of marketing materials.
- Manages the translation of marketing materials into local languages by coordinating with third-party vendors, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
- Supports planning, coordination of final materials and execution for internal initiatives such as quarterly or commercial meetings throughout the year.
- Manages and maintains marketing documents within the sales enablement platform by uploading, organizing, and ensuring the accuracy of the marketing content.
- Organizes and maintains the marketing collateral inventory in the Shockwave Store.
- Supports the marketing team in creation of documents, letters and reports in support of business initiatives as needed.
- Manages overall marketing budget including management of vendor proposals, opening purchase orders, tracking programs’ spend on a monthly and quarterly basis, and ensuring vendor invoices and payments occur per the terms of the agreement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ marketing and events experience, preferably in Medtech or Pharmaceutical industry. Experience in interventional cardiology and peripheral intervention is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, operating as a team and independently, adapting to changing requirements.
- Knowledge of Fair Market Value and speaker/consultant payment procedures.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite and experience working with enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms) to support operational and financial processes.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Fluency in English and one additional European language is required, both written and spoken.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
