Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for an International Commercial Manager, located in Leeds, UK or Zug, Switzerland. The Senior Manager, International Commercial Operations is responsible for design and development of new Commercial Operations capabilities and the ongoing enhancement to existing processes and systems. The role will ensure market level requirements are captured and designed into International and Global systems (e.g. FOL, new CRM capabilities, Asset management tools etc.) & the deployment of new systems and processes is effective at a market level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and lead the development of new commercial operations capabilities (systems and processes) for the International Orthopedics business.
  • Represent the international commercial business requirements in Global systems/process development, ensuring market level insights are considered in design of new processes and systems, including OTC, CRM etc.
  • Partner across commercial excellence, sales & marketing, finance, supply chain to ensure integration of commercial operations process and systems into DS operating model with a specific focus on the commercial integration with IBP.
  • Support best practice sharing across international markets & ensure best practices are designed into future process and systems capabilities.
  • Provide individual market execution support as needed for new process and system deployment.
  • Ensure Health Care Compliance, Quality & Safety principles are championed and actively practiced at every level of the organization.
Education Requirements:
  • BA/BS required; MBA preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience with continuous & proven track record.
  • Knowledge of key business units in Orthopedics.
  • Global or regional experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Orthopedics Supply Chain & IBP processes.
