Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans.
To execute the International strategies for our Hip Enabling Technology Platforms and ensure delivery of tactical activities to support the Business Plan:
- Be part of the cross-functional teams and partner with the Hip product platform to bring this new Technology Systems to market within the designated launch markets.
- Partner with HEMA, Regulatory and Clinical to ensure we have an accelerated and defined market access strategy to launch Hip Enabling Technology in each top 16 market.
- Partner with Hip Platform Teams, HEMA, Medical Affairs and Clinical to define the Clinical and Health Economic evidence strategy for new Hip Enabling Technology platforms and procedural solutions.
- Develop recommendations for the organizational design to support the new Hip Enabling Technology platforms.
- Represent International needs in product pipeline discussions with global marketing, R&D and Supply Chain teams.
- Partner with our Supply Chain teams to ensure our IBP is fully aligned to our defined launch plans.
- Maintain and develop relationships with the defined KOL's for each Technology platform.
- Partner actively with the Regional Hip teams to plan the launch and roll out of Hip enabling technology within the portfolio.
- Support activities within our Lighthouse Centre strategy and plans.
- Partner closely with all the EMEA, APAC & LATAM Commercial Leaders and the markets across the EMEA, APAC & LATAM regions.
- Partner with our Professional Education and Commercial Education teams to ensure we have the education plans that support our Technology launch plans.
- Ensure Health Care Compliance, Quality & Safety principles are championed and actively practiced at every level of the organization.
Extended duties include:
- Quantifying and ensuring the quality, timeliness and cost-effective manner in which marketing programs are implemented.
- Allocating marketing resources behind the strategic imperatives to maximize impact.
- Creating and directing communications, research and public relations plans to support the strategic plan.
- Developing and ensuring adherence to annual budget.
- Conducting business activities in compliance with ethics and legal requirements.
- Bringing robust compliance process and team alignment within a rapidly changing business.
- Building relationships and collaborating cross-functionally.
- Ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and laws.
- Directing and monitoring financial and budget activities to achieve goals.
- Demonstrating resilience and ability to work in a changing environment.
- Upholding Credo values and behaviours in all business activities.
Overall travel expectations are 40-50% across International Regions. BA/BS required; MBA preferred. Deep expertise in Orthopaedics; ideally in HiPA. Experience within Clinical technology solutions, Digital products and Capital systems. Marketing experience of 5+ years, with global or regional experience preferred. Market development or value/demand creation through experience with customer and market insights or through experience in marketing or other critical functions (e.g., sales, operations, R&D, finance, business development, etc.). English required, other languages preferable.
