We are searching for the best talent for Distribution Services Representative to be based in Leeds, UK. This role ensures that international shipments leave the Tingley Distribution Centre on time, with the right paperwork and in full compliance with regulatory and Dangerous Goods requirements. You will play a hands-on role in keeping our global supply chain running efficiently and safely, working closely with colleagues across Distribution, Logistics, Customer Services, Supply Chain, and Quality to deliver excellent service and protect patient outcomes!

As a Distribution Services Representative, you will:

  • Own export compliance for international shipments across air, sea, and road, ensuring legal, customs, tax, and security requirements are met and compliance risks are mitigated.
  • Lead end-to-end export order processing in the ERP, ensuring timely dispatch and clear order status reporting to Affiliates and stakeholders.
  • Prepare, verify, and maintain correct export documentation, aligning shipments with IATA, IMDG, and ADR requirements and supporting import/export clearance queries.
  • Proactively liaise with Affiliates, carriers, and internal teams to resolve shipping, documentation, and performance issues, and work with Quality to log and close customer complaints.
  • Optimize distribution by handling order holding and consolidation decisions to improve transport utilization, control costs, and maintain service commitments.
  • Develop and maintain clear metrics and dashboards, participate in continuous improvement and Lean initiatives, and use data to highlight opportunities to improve export processes and performance.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Proven experience in distribution, logistics, export, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of export procedures, customs legislation, and regulatory compliance across Air, Sea, and Road.
  • Experience handling Dangerous Goods shipments preferred; certifications such as IATA DGR, IMDG, or ADR are advantageous.
  • Proficiency with ERP and data tools; experience with JD Edwards or SAP and confidence using Excel and Power BI.
  • Clear written and verbal communicator with a strong customer focus, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to manage competing priorities under time pressure.
  • Collaborative, quality-driven approach with attention to accurate record-keeping and a commitment to continuous improvement.
