The Commercial Education Spine Manager is responsible for leading the development and delivery of education programs that support spine healthcare professionals across the UK. This role has a direct impact on clinician capability, product adoption, and patient outcomes by delivering high-quality, innovative training experiences. You will work closely with commercial and clinical teams to ensure education strategies align with business goals while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and educational excellence. **Key Responsibilities:**
Lead the development and execution of spine-focused professional education strategies aligned to commercial and product priorities
Design and deliver training programs for healthcare professionals, including procedural techniques and product application
Identify educational gaps and implement targeted programs to address evolving spine training needs
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs to ensure alignment of education initiatives with commercial and clinical objectives
Plan and deliver educational events such as workshops, cadaver labs, symposia, and regional training sessions
Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), spine surgeons, and healthcare institutions
Monitor program effectiveness using performance metrics and feedback, driving continuous improvement
Ensure all educational content and activities comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
Incorporate digital learning tools and innovative delivery methods to enhance engagement and learning outcomes
Manage project timelines, budgets, and cross-functional coordination for education programs
**Qualifications**
_Education:_
Bachelors degree required (e.g., Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, or related field)
Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) preferred
**Experience and Skills:**
_Required:_
Typically 58 years of relevant experience in medical education, commercial training, or healthcare program management
Experience designing and delivering education programs for healthcare professionals
Strong understanding of the healthcare or medical device industry
Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage clinical audiences effectively
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
Analytical mindset with experience using data and performance metrics to inform decisions
_Preferred:_
Experience in spine or orthopedic medical device education
Familiarity with surgical training environments, including hands-on labs and workshops
Experience working with key opinion leaders and healthcare institutions
Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
Experience with digital learning platforms and blended learning approaches
Experience managing regional or national education programs
Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives

Travel up to 3040% (primarily within the UK, with occasional international travel)
Certifications in project management, medical education, or learning & development preferred
