DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Classification Analyst, located in Leeds, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom and Ringaskiddy, Ireland. The Classification Analyst supports DePuy Synthes' global job architecture and classification framework by ensuring roles are accurately evaluated, documented, and maintained. This role plays an important part in enabling consistent workforce decisions, supporting compliance, and strengthening data quality across the organization. The position offers exposure to enterprise-wide HR data and collaboration with multiple HR and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the evaluation and classification of roles in alignment with established job architecture frameworks and governance standards.
  • Conduct job analysis by reviewing job descriptions, organizational structures, and role requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date job classification records within HR systems and supporting tools.
  • Partner with HR, Talent, and Compensation teams to respond to classification-related inquiries and ensure consistent application of guidelines.
  • Assist with audits, reviews, and data quality checks related to job classifications.
  • Analyze trends and identify discrepancies or improvement opportunities within classification data.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to job documentation, classification processes, and controls.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Analytics, or a related field (required). Advanced degree or professional coursework in HR, compensation, or organizational design (preferred).

Experience and Skills:

  • Required: Typically 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in job classification, HR operations, compensation, or workforce analytics.
  • Experience analyzing job content and applying structured evaluation frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
  • Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain classification outcomes.
  • Preferred: Experience working in a global or matrixed organization.
  • Familiarity with job architecture frameworks, grading structures, or compensation benchmarking.
  • Experience supporting audits or compliance-driven HR processes.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement or process optimization initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional HR stakeholders.

  • Language: English proficiency required.
  • Travel: Minimal; occasional domestic travel may be required.
  • Certifications: HR or compensation-related certifications (e.g., CIPD) preferred but not required.
