Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any vital consultation processes.
Responsibilities
- Operational Change Coordinator will focus on the execution of operational change from a person focused perspective within MedTech Deliver D&T in the UK. You will deliver an outstanding customer experience by focusing on providing perfection in warehouse operations. You will play an active role within the organization and collaborate with business partners in cross‑functional departments. As a successful change agent, you are a role model of continuous improvement and process optimisation. This role is based in Tingley DC, UK.
- Implement the delivery of change management and change implementation strategies for the site while actively engaging and collaborating with employees to improve adoption and minimise resistance to change.
- Devise standardised tools, processes and transparent communication plans to support delivery of change initiatives so operational teams feel supported.
- Identify potential risks or points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address these to ensure smooth change delivery.
- Drive improvement culture using Lean Six Sigma methodology, working closely with the process excellence and operational teams.
- Paint the vision of \”what good looks like\” when working with others to build engagement and achieve quick wins.
- Lead change activity on site developing and running a triage process for change, including but not limited to NPI, process change, new technology implementation, regulatory change, asset changes and larger transformation projects, considering end‑to‑end process.
- Oversee the execution of operational change deployment and assess operational readiness, including communication, training and compliance requirements, and handover into operational teams.
- Lead regular change and improvement meetings to update the team on upcoming changes and support successful deployment.
- Participate actively in the regional EMEA team and project teams.
- Partner with key business partners in Finance, Quality, HR, Commercial and the end‑to‑end supply chain to deliver change.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering change in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
- Formal training and experience with lean, process perfection, Six Sigma tools.
- Strong people leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation and influence within a matrix organisation.
- Excellent analytical capabilities.
- Strategic thinking and ability to lead complex projects.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- System experience in JDE, SAP 4 HANA, Tableau, Power BI, Excel.
- Proficient in English.
