We're recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking organisation seeking an experienced Data Engineer with a cloud-first mindset and strong expertise across the Microsoft data ecosystem. This is an excellent opportunity to work on modern data platforms, building scalable solutions that support analytics, reporting, and Business Intelligence initiatives.
You'll play a key role in designing, building, and optimising cloud-based data solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Azure services
- Build and optimise data solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric components
- Develop and orchestrate data integration workflows using Azure Data Factory
- Work with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Databricks for data processing and analytics
- Write and optimise SQL for querying, analysing, and managing complex data sets
- Support and enhance cloud-based data platforms with a focus on best practices and security
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Proven Data Engineer in a cloud-first environment
- Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure data stack, including:
- Microsoft Fabric
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Databricks
