Join Our Private Tutoring Team as a Teaching Assistant! Are you enthusiastic about education and eager to make a difference in young learners’ lives? We’re looking for a dedicated and energetic Teaching Assistant to support our tutoring sessions and help students thrive academically and personally.
Role Overview
- Provide in‑lesson support by clarifying instructions, guiding tasks, and encouraging participation
- Assist with marking work and organizing learning materials such as worksheets and homework packs
- Help manage group dynamics, maintain focus, and promote good behaviour
- Offer gentle motivation and praise to boost confidence and effort
- Build rapport with students to foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere
What We’re Looking For
- A strong command of English and Maths (GCSE level or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Patience, positivity, and a proactive attitude
- Previous experience working with children (preferred but not essential)
- DBS Checked - Essential
6 to 7 Hrs per Week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday - 4.30 to 6.30pm) £12.50/hr
