Web Experience Manager – Hybrid – Permanent

Salary: c£40,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience) + comprehensive benefits package

Jisc grade: PRS3 (internal use only)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Reports into: Head of Web Experience

Working style: Hybrid – A blend of working from home and your nominated hub office. We have hubs located in London, Bristol, Manchester and Oxford.

The role

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Head of Web Experience to deliver a user-first, data-driven web strategy. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including content, media, marketing, and subject experts—to improve customer journeys and ensure our platforms deliver best-in-class content and usability.

We’re looking for someone who can lead through influence, drive strategic change, and use data insights to shape digital experiences that reflect the needs of all our users.

What we are looking for

  • Proven Experience: Managing web platforms and enhancing customer experience
  • Strategic insight: Strong understanding of audience personas, content audits, and web/content strategy development
  • Data driven mindset: Confident working with website metrics, KPIs, and performance optimisation
  • Technical fluency: Experience with CRM-integrated websites and tools such as Wagtail, AEM, GA4, Looker Studio, and VMO (or similar).
  • Analytical thinking: Ability to translate data and user insights into actionable strategies that improve digital content and user journeys.
  • Project coordination: Skilled at planning and managing activities across teams, working independently, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to influence and align priorities across diverse teams.
